The ENL Group is a national reference in the development and management of numerous residential and commercial projects across the country.
Founded in 1821, the group is strongly attached to human values, to ethical practice in business and to the country generally. The 90 enterprises of the group are present in over a dozen sectors of activity, with a total workforce of 6 800. It holds 23 000 acres of strategically situated land and was one of the first enterprises to be quoted on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. ENL is at present the third biggest enterprise in Mauritius in terms of assets, with a turnover of Rs 13 billion and total assets of Rs 57 billion as at 31 March 2017.
The Bel Ombre Sugar Estate is the real estate and agribusiness branch of the Rogers Group, one of the most important conglomerates in Mauritius, and whose main shareholder is none other than the ENL Group. The company was founded over a century ago and has made an important contribution to development in the south west of Mauritius. CSBO has diversified its activities over the years, moving from sugarcane monoculture to a portfolio of varied activities that now include agribusiness, real estate and leisure.
Bel Ombre Sugar Estate owns the whole of the Domaine de Bel Ombre, which extends over more than 2 500 hectares. It is on this land that the residential development of Heritage Villas Valriche is situated, in line with the vast programme whose aim is to transform the Bel Ombre region into an upmarket residential and touristic destination.
The ENL and Rogers groups are both listed on the stock exchange and are key players in the Mauritian economy, especially through their strong presence in the sectors of agriculture, real estate, the hotel industry, logistics, airlines, financial services and commerce. Rogers, in particular, has been involved for decades in commercial exchanges between Mauritius, Europe and Africa as well as the Far East.
With the wide range of facilities and services on offer, a large dedicated team of staff operating behind the scenes has been appointed to make sure Heritage Villas Valriche maintains its position as the island's top residential resort and to ensure villa owners and holiday visitors are fully satisfied.
