At Villas Valriche we offer residents access to a wide range of educational activities for visitors to discover the endemic and native species of Mauritius in their natural environment in both the nature reserve and on the lagoon.
Nearby Chamarel is home to two natural wonders - the magnificent waterfalls and the wondrous coloured earths that form beautiful patterns in the exposed hillsides. At Casela you can walk with lions, or visit the sacred Grand Bassin with its 108’ statue of Lord Shiva, where it is said the waters of the lake is sourced from the River Ganges in India.
Our comfortable hunting lodge, hidden in the Valriche mountains, is the perfect venue for an evening barbeque to enjoy the sunset and marvel at the spectacular views, and from where powerful telescopes allow guests to learn about the stars and constellations.
