With spectacular views over the lagoon, the Villas Valriche Beach Club is a destination in itself, offering a perfect beach retreat for residents and guests. It will provide exclusive direct access to the spectacular beach and lagoon, with a range of food, beverage, leisure and entertainment facilities on hand to accommodate all tastes and ages. French, English, Creole and Indian influences reflect the melting pot of cultures that is Mauritius.
A haven for simple relaxation for family and friends and with efficient and friendly 5* service, this spacious and well-designed complex will offer casual dining and drinking, swimming, changing facilities, aquatic and beach sports, and children’s entertainment.
The Beach Club has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the attractive Mauritian architecture, similar to that used in the villas, with open timber ceilings, plantation style ceiling fans, timber pergolas and shutters. Segregated areas are included to allow guests to choose between a bustling, vibrant environment or a finding quiet spot to relax and repose.
Access to the Beach Club will be through verdant tropical gardens, rich in flowers, leading into the complex with dazzling views overlooking the beach and lagoon. The landscaping is an important feature that will reflect a ‘Tropical Island’ environment, with many natural and indigenous plants and materials such as the distinctive volcanic rock, and large coconut palms with colorful shrubberies adding vibrant colour contrasts. The eastern boundary will be planted in such a manner as to provide a natural barrier for the occasional windy days.

There will also be a convenience kiosk selling useful items such as sun tan lotion, sunglasses, newspapers, postcards, books and sweets.
Restaurant
The restaurant will be based around an open kitchen ‘Grill Bar’. Designed to offer a casual and relaxing atmosphere, it will extend out onto a large terrace with ample seating and parasols for outdoor refreshments, “al fresco” dining and open air barbeques. It has been carefully designed with flexibility in mind and to ensure maximum comfort for guests throughout the seasons.
Our menu will offer a range of freshly prepared meals to suit all tastes, whether for a tropical breakfast, light lunch, grilled dinner or a kid’s menu. An ice cream bar will be open for deserts in the evening and there will be live music entertainment at weekends and on function days.
The restaurant will offer secluded areas for couples, family or party dining and for group bookings, although separate function rooms for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings will also be available for hire.
Cocktail Bar
Guests may enjoy pre-dinner cocktails at the bar to the sounds of light island background music, either under canopy or under the stars. The cocktail bar will offer a wide variety of beverages from island cocktails, spirits, wine and beers to soft drinks and milkshakes for children. An ice cream bar will be open here during the day. To take advantage of the soothing tropical sea breeze, it opens onto a large picturesque terrace furnished with tables and parasols, which leads to the restaurant and pool area and down to the beach.
Lounge
Cool, casual and relaxed comfort, the lounge will be a sanctuary for guests to break away from the heat of the beach. It will provide a comfortable space for seclusion, for reading your favorite book or magazine, or simply catching up on the news from local and overseas newspapers of the day. Dress code in the lounge will be light casual during the day and in smart casual attire in the evenings. This area will also be available as a private function room for dining, weddings and special occasion private parties.
Swimming Pool
A large, well-proportioned leisure pool designed to enable swimmers to enjoy a view of the beach and lagoon. It will also have a shallow lower pool for younger children.
Beach
The white sand beach spans the area between the main Beach Club complex and the sea, in which there will be a generous number of fixed parasols positioned in clusters, with interspaced landscaped ridges that will offer sunbathers both a degree of privacy as well as adding colourful flora, and which also provide natural protection from the wind. There will be a Volley Ball court and a Boule pitch situated near the bar.

Mauritius is famous for its game fishing, with the world’s largest marlins caught in our waters. Big Game fishing excursions can be arranged with either the Concierge at the Sport and Racquet Club or the manager at the Beach Club.
Kids And Teens
YOUNGSTER ZONE
The Club will offer a supervised play area, sheltered from the sun, for children aged under 6 with Lego blocks, toys, painting, colouring and other activities.
JUNIOR ZONE
For children aged over 6 and up to their teens, this area will offer a range of activities including Jungle gym, beach games, computer games, a TV lounge and table tennis.
TEENAGE ZONE
Teenagers can keep themselves occupied (and away from the adults!) in this area which offers a TV lounge, computer games, table tennis and a pool table.
CHANGING ROOMS
Changing rooms will provide unisex changing facilities, toilets, showers and lockers, with a beach towel concierge counter and a storage facility.
Parking
There will be numerous bays for parking residents’ golf carts, with convenient charging bays in the event of a loss power and a drop off area for the complimentary service that will shuttle residents to the Sport & Racquet Club within the Estate.
