Mauritius back on the EU compliant list and added to the French green list

There has been good news for Mauritius in recent weeks. After getting back on the European Union’s list of compliant financial centres, investors who wish to visit us for a first-hand experience prior to purchasing property at Heritage Villas Valriche will be delighted to learn that Mauritius has been moved to France’s green list of travel destinations.

This is a positive signal from the French government, which decided on 16 February 2022 to place Mauritius on its green list of destinations where the coronavirus is not actively circulating and where no worrying variants have been identified. French travellers with a complete vaccination schedule can now travel freely between France and the island, without compelling reasons, quarantine or negative COVID-19 test.
