Placed front and center in a VIP box, they witnessed memorable moments, including Louis Oosthuizen’s remarks: “The course is spectacular… “I love links golf because I’m very attached to creating shots in golf… Of course, the views here are also very special.”
Louis wasn’t the only player enjoying his week in Mauritius and specifically in Bel Ombre!
Marcel Siem, Heritage Resorts ambassador, also relished the week in Bel Ombre. Settling in with his family, he participated in the competition earlier in the week and secured a top-20 finish.
Explaining his choice of residence in Mauritius, Marcel shared: “We used to come here for the year-end holidays, spending five to six weeks at a stretch. We met extraordinary people here and realized that Mauritius, and specifically Heritage Villas Valriche, was exactly what we were looking for. Every day, I’m on the golf course at 6:30 am after a workout at 5:30 am. I play 18 holes and am with the kids by 11:30 am. The balance between work and personal life is fantastic here. Just gazing at the ocean is soothing. For us as a family, making our residence here was an easy decision.”
